SEO in the age of AI search: build pages worth finding.

Give each important service a useful home

A single services list rarely answers the questions a prospective customer has about a particular need. Build a dedicated page when the service has a distinct audience, purpose and body of useful information. Explain the problem, your contribution, what working together involves and relevant examples.

Avoid producing many near-identical pages with a different location or keyword inserted. A page should have a reason to exist for the person reading it. If two pages answer essentially the same question, a stronger combined page may serve that person better.

Use your work as evidence

Case studies can show how your contribution fits a real business. Explain the brief, your role and the outcome in plain language, then link to the services involved. Make the distinction between what you delivered and what the wider business achieved clear.

Oxford Shirt Company connects creative direction, an online store and ongoing marketing. Padel People connects brand, website and audience acquisition. These stories give service claims context. They also help a visitor recognise a problem similar to their own without having to decode agency terminology.

Answer the question before expanding the argument

Give readers a direct opening answer, descriptive headings and a route to further detail. Explain specialist terms when they matter. Use examples to clarify decisions rather than padding a page to reach an arbitrary length.

Choose articles from questions customers actually ask: what needs fixing before advertising, how email flows differ from campaigns or what a reported return includes. Each article should add something useful and have an obvious connection to the services and work on the site.

Treat AI visibility as part of search quality

Google’s guidance says established SEO practices remain relevant to its generative search features. That supports a practical approach: make useful content available, clearly organised and supported by evidence. Inclusion in an AI-generated answer cannot be promised.

Keep essential information as readable page content, even when the presentation includes animation. Use descriptive links and meaningful image descriptions. Structured data should accurately describe the visible page; it is not a substitute for substance or a guaranteed route to special search treatment.

Measure useful discovery and keep improving

Review the queries and pages attracting attention, then connect that activity with enquiries or sales where measurement allows. A rise in impressions can be interesting, but it does not by itself show that the right people are reaching the right information.

Update pages when services, examples or customer questions change. Correct outdated claims and improve pages that attract visitors but leave important questions unanswered. Search is a continuing editorial and technical responsibility. The strongest starting point is a site that helps a prospective customer make a well-informed decision.
